Project Management – GMBA 1101

Description:

This course develops a foundation of concepts and solutions that supports the planning, scheduling, controlling, resource allocation, and performance measurement activities required for successful completion of a project.

Learning Objectives:

  • understand role of project management and the Project Cycle

  • the importance to project management of the project appraisal, planning and

  • determine the feasibility of the project prior to implementation.

Action Learning Project:
Students will create two projects during this course.

  1. The first will be a short essay due between the sixth and eighth week of the course.
  2. The second will be a research paper due between the twelfth and fourteenth week of the course.
